This area covers the three departments of Charente, Gironde and northern Landes. Our Atlantic Coast villas are located from La Rochelle and the fabulous Ile De Re in the north, to the famous seaside resorts of Hossegor and Cap Breton in the South. La Rochelle is a wonderful centre with pedestrianised streets full of cafes and restaurants often serving oysters farmed locally. Just across a bridge from here is the paradise of Ile De Re; this is best discovered along its many cycle tracks by bikes rented from one of the numerous hire shops. Beaches at La Couarde, Bois Plage and St Martin offer safe, sandy bays for swimming and sunbathing. We also have many villas in Bordeaux region, near to which are the famous vineyards of Pauillac, St Estephe and St Emilion. This is the best area for Bordeaux self catering since there are so many excellent food markets in the local villages to accompany the outstanding wines of the area. Our Bordeaux cottages are usually renovated stone properties with modern facilities and swimming pools.
