To the south, the Languedoc Roussillon region is edged with Spain, Andorra and the Mediterranean. To the north it is bounded by the Cevennes and the Montagne Noire. From the east to the west, this huge region stretches from the Rhône delta to the Pyrenees. Nevertheless, there are streams, carving out cave systems, and river canyons like the Ardéche gorge, the Céze, the Aude and the Hérault. The river gorges with their clear water and dramatic cliffs are beautiful locations for bathing, picnicking, canoeing, riding, walking or fishing. That property is situated a few kilometres from St Hippolite-du-Fort and 30 minutes from the town of Anduze; the gateway for the Cèvennes. Here you are 20minutes from Ganges and the beautiful Herault Gorges. Finally Le Couvent de Navacelles is a beautiful stone house dating from 15th century with swimming pool that is set in the rural little village of Navacelles and 2.5 km away from shops in Fumades les Bains. Navacelles is part of the Vallée de la Cèze – a long river with numerous rock pools.
