Spring normally arrives in February on the Côte d'Azur and in mid March further north. The almond, cherry trees, irises and poppies start to blossom given you most beautiful sights and scents. Come Easter life really starts to move: Most restaurants are open again, the markets come alive… It is wonderful to be in the sunny Provence while it is still miserable and grey in England.
A shorter drive will easily take you to l’Ile de Re which also offers many days of early sunshine. Ile de Re shares the privilege with the Côte d'Azur of being one of the sunniest regions of France. Its climate is mild, and the temperature almost never goes below freezing. Its vegetation is surprisingly southern, almost Mediterranean. Pine trees and palms grow there easily.
French Affair offers beautiful and comfortable self catering properties in both areas. Most importantly unlike most Tour Operator we guaranty to maintain our prices over Half Term and the Easter period. There is no increase on these dates and our prices start from £357.
