The property is set on 7 acres of land only a short drive from Bonaguil and has lovely views of the famous Château de Bonaguil from its terrace. If you prefer to walk, a track from the house leads you to the village of Bonaguil in which are two restaurants ‘Le Cellier’ and ‘Les Bons Enfants’ with the Chateau above. The nearest boulangerie and grocery are in Condat, 3 km away. For full shopping facilities Fumel is 5 km away. Follow the River Lot upstream as it winds through delightful vineyards to the fascinating medieval market town of Cahors. West of Bonaguil lies another splendid forteress, La Capelle Biron, and the gorgeous bastide villages of Monpazier, Villereal and Monflanquin.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION
During July and August, the Main House, Cottage and Studio are rented together. Outside these dates the Main House only is rented, in which case the other two units remain empty. The 13m x 7m swimming pool is above the Main House; it has a pergola on one side with outdoor seating .
Main House (Sleeps 6). The front door opens into a hallway, which communicates with the main rooms on the ground floor. To the left is the lovely double bedroom with en-suite bathroom/wc,to the right is the utility room with washing machine and wc. The hall leads to the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and access to the covered terrace. From the kitchen four steps leads down to the dining room with French windows to another terrace with table and chairs. A door from the entrance hall opens into the large and cosy sitting room with sofas and armchairs, fireplace and hifi unit, and French window to a covered terrace with teak table and chairs and views over the castle. Another French window opens onto the paved terrace on the right; the room extending to the height of the roof beams is spacious and full of character. There is also a separate wc. Stairs rise from the sitting room to the first floor to a mezzanine with a second sitting area with sofa, plasma TV screen and DVD player. From there you access a large double bedroom, a bathroom/wc and steep stairs rise to the tower bedroom with two single beds and a wash handbasin.
Studio (Sleeps 4). An archway leads you to a paved terrace with the main house on the left and the studio on the right. It has a shower room/wc, a twin bedroom and a second bedroom with 2 child beds (one pulls out from beneath the other).
Cottage (Sleeps 3). Simply furnished and suitable for teenagers, it is on the other side of the front lawn. You enter into a living are with a sofa and kitchenette with microwave, cooker and fridge, and door to an outside terrace. Three steps leads to a double bedroom to the left; on the right is a separate wc, a bathroom and a single bedroom.
