To rent a villa in France has become increasingly popular because it allows one to properly discover an area of France in the comfort of a house. French Affair started operating in 1986 and we have regularly expanded our selection of villas to rent in France on a strict basis of quality and value for money.
Prior to the season a thorough inspection is made of our villas to rent in France to ensure that every house has maintained the standards we have set, and is ready to be enjoyed by our clients. In addition to that, our staff in London has personally visited every house. They can provide you with all those little pieces of information that make a difference when choosing your holiday. We really do encourage you to find out as much as possible from us and hope you will take advantage of our knowledge.
Many of our clients return to the same the same villa to rent in France year after year; whilst others travel with us for many years, but stay in different regions since we have a wide variety to choose from around France. Some clients will travel as a couple one year, but then rent a large property with a group of friends the next.
When you rent a villa in France you will discover lots of local events and you can enjoy the village fetes, exhibitions, outdoor concerts and plays. You will be part of the real French experience and be able to buy your fresh baguette in the local boulangerie and enjoy the fresh and local produce from the markets, which take place every week in most villages and towns. Te most famous markets take place in Arles, Sarlat and Nice; but almost any village of any size has a colourful weekly occasion when the local farmers display their fruit, vegetables, cheese and wine for sale. Our villas to rent in France have well equipped kitchens and you can enjoy cooking freshly grown produce and discover unknown little vineyards producing unsophisticated but very drinkable wine. However if you do not like the idea of cooking on holiday, do not worry; because most of our properties are just a short drive to a restaurants and some are even close enough to walk to.
