French Affair has been renting villas with pools in France for more than 20 years. It is also important to know that since 1st January 2004, all pools must be secured by a security system. All pools in our rented villas in France are equipped with either alarms (most of them), electric curtain cover (for example La Chevalerie), or fences (Grenier Médocain, Salviac, and many others). Some of them even provide a double seystem with alarm and fence like Trensacq and Borie. Our owners of villas with pool in France arrange the swimming pool area to make it as practical and beautiful as possible. Our properties have different types of swimming pool that suit all needs. The large majority of pools have steps to enter, but a few still only have the traditional ladder.

Regarding the depth, some have very deep ends suitable for diving (Plaisance, St Sylvestre, Magélyne) and other have a constant 1.50m to 1.60m depth, which is more convenient for those who want to play water games. To allow you to have a good swim we would recommend our properties with large pools like at Daglan or Sarrazac. Some other pools are equipped with massage jets against which to swim for example at Petites Beauries or Guiraout.

For those who are sensitive to cold, we would like to mention that some of our villas with pool in France have heating pumps (Petites Beauries) or solar panels (Arbousier) to warm up the water. Some others have a glazed frame (Antillaise) or night covers (Rose Trémière) to keep the water warm. Some of our villas with pool in France are located on a high position and give a remarkable view when sitting aournd it like for example Vallée du Vert and Le Branaa. Some others have great natural settings, near a river or carved in some rocks like Moulin de Parcoul, Bearnaise and La Ramadiere. If the ground around the swimming pools have enough space, you will find that some villas with pool in France are very well equipped with independent pool houses (Petites Beauries, Cordes) or handy changing rooms ( Les Olivoux) or shower (Villa du lac). Some pools are treated with salt rather than chlorine for those with sensitive skin (Gaujac, Castetarbe). Only a few of our villas with pool in France have shared swimming pools with the owner. (Grenier Médocain) Please be ensured that when this is the case, French Affair makes sure that the owner only uses the pool very discretely and normally as much as possible when our clients are out.
